At Spaghetti Parachute, we take a careful, transparent approach to emerging technology. We practise augmented filmmaking—using AI to enhance creativity, not replace the people behind it.

We never use generative tools to mimic or replicate real individuals without consent. Every prompt, source input, and output is logged and trackable, ensuring a clear chain of provenance for every creative element we produce. This protects our clients, collaborators, and the long-term integrity of our work.

The Team

We’re a creative community of commercial filmmakers, corralled and supported by Eddy Bell.

Together, we believe in an evolving film craft and we’re excited to grow as artists alongside the tools. We use emerging technology to add scale, production value, and new possibilities without ever losing sight of the performance at the heart of a great piece.

We’re established filmmakers who see a real opportunity to help small and medium businesses, startups, and emerging brands make a lasting impression through emotionally resonant, high-quality commercials. About Eddy

Eddy has worked in almost every film department, graduated (Valedictorian) from the Victorian College of the Arts, hosted Belgian TV and in his commercial directing career to date, has worked for major brands including Toyota, Volkswagen, KFC, OPSM, The Australian Government and The Australian Air Force.

Eddy’s short films have also been awarded top prizes at Sydney Film Festival, Melbourne International Film Festival, St Kilda Film Festival and Flickerfest (Best Australian Short 2014 & 2022). He’s won an Australian Directors Guild award, was nominated for the 2014 & 2022 AACTAs and was recognised at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity with a Gold at the Young Director Awards.

Eddy is known for creating characters that audiences connect with: grounded, emotionally true, and often surprisingly funny. For him, the best narratives unfold when character drives story and story, in turn, pushes back. That dynamic sits at the heart of his work.
